My Story
I started out studying design engineering, driven by an early interest in human-centred design and how people interact with the technologies that they use.
What stuck was the problem-solving. The kind where you’re faced with something complicated, technical, and overwhelming - and your job is to make it feel clear, structured, and intuitive. That’s still the part I enjoy most.
Over the past few years, I’ve designed workflows for technical environments, helping users navigate tasks from code generation to machine learning. My focus has been on turning that complexity into experiences that feel usable, predictable, and thoughtfully designed.
The Journey So Far
2020
Started MEng Design Engineering at Imperial College London
2022 & 2023
UX design intern at MathWorks - parallel computing and AI teams
2024
Graduated with a First-Class degree
2025
UX Designer at MathWorks - AUTOSAR and code generation teams
I use a range of methodologies to design user-centred, effective solutions from research through to delivery
Usability Testing
Evaluating how users interact with complex workflows, identifying friction points, and iterating towards more intuitive solutions.
Visual Design
Applying clear, consistent visual systems to support usability and reduce cognitive load in dense interfaces.
Prototyping
Rapidly testing and refining complex workflows to validate ideas and reduce ambiguity before development.
Interaction Design
Designing multi-step workflows, states, and interactions that help users move through complex tasks with clarity and confidence.
Information Architecture
Structuring complex systems and large sets of functionality into clear, logical, and navigable frameworks.
User Research
Understanding how users navigate complex, technical workflows - uncovering needs, constraints, and real-world usage.
Alongside my design work, I spend time sharing what I’ve learned — through writing, coaching, and supporting others as they navigate their own paths into design.
